From September 2009, the Second Level Support Service will be offering support to teachers of Modern Languages. It is looking to work with language teachers, across all of the languages, interested in facilitating events in their local education centre for fellow language teachers.

The portal website, german.ie, has been launched by Minister Batt O’Keeffe TD. The site is a result of collaboration between the NCTE, the Department of Education & Science, the Goethe Institute, the GDI and the Austrian Embassy in Ireland.
